Children of Elizabeth and John M Barnett:
Moore Deltry Barnett, born 5th February, 1836. All we know about Deltry after the 1850 census is his enumeration in Freedom Township, Polk County, Arkansas, in 1860 and 1870. Living in the household were Mary E (born GA about 1838), Georgiana, born about 1860, and Roxa N C, born about 1869.
In 1880, Mary E Barnett was head of a household consisting of herself and Roxa, age 11. We assume that Deltry was dead by then. Mary and Roxa lived "next door" to Hamp (Harry?) McDonald and his wife, Georgia A, age 21, and their daughter, Roxa C (or E), age 3 months. Margaret McDonald, age 24, sister of Hamp, also lived in the McDonald household. We assume, due to her age, the fact that she's living "next door" to Mary and Roxa, and due to the fact that she also named a daughter Roxa, that Georgia A McDonald is Deltry's daughter.
Andrew N Barnett, born 22nd December, 1837.

Stephen B: born 5 Jul 1843 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; age 7 on 1850 census; not listed with family on 1860 census; was he dead or living elsewhere?
Nancy L: born 19 Jan 1846 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; not listed with family in 1850 census; would have been 4; probably died before.
Henry D: born 17 Jan 1848 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; age 2 on 1850 census; not listed with family on 1860 census; died in Sep 1860, age 11. (AIS Mortality Schedules Index: IO#MRT126_9626: 1860 H. D. Skidmore, Sevier Co., AR, age 11, Sex M, b. AR, d. Sept, cause flux.)
Vincent H: born 18 Jan 1850 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; age 6/12 on 1850 census; not listed with family on 1860 census.
Loranza/Lorenzo/Lorenza Dow/L. D: born 25 Dec 1851 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; only son of Elijah D and Elizabeth R to reach adulthood.
Martha S/J/Ann: born 29 Aug 1854 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; oldest daughter of Elijah D and Elizabeth R to reach adulthood.
William M: born 25 Dec 1856 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; died in Sep 1860; (AIS Mortality Schedules Index: 1860 W. N/M?. Skidmore Sevier Co., AR age 2 Sex M d. Sept b. AR cause: flux ID# MRT126_9627) Discrepancy with his age as being born 1856 in Bible and dead at age 2 in 1860. Also discrepancy with his name as William M in Bible and W. N. on AIS schedule.
Christana/Christiana Elizabeth: born 19 Apr 1859 in Clear Creek Township, Sevier Co, AR; youngest daughter of Elijah D and Elizabeth R to reach adulthood.
In the 1900 Sevier Co, AR, Clear Creek Township census, Elizabeth R was living with her youngest daughter, Christana, and her family. Elizabeth was listed as Eliza Skidmore, mother-in-law, female, b Feb 1821, 79, widow, mother of 13 children, 4 still living.
Besides Deltry M and Andrew N Barnett, Elizabeth R’s sons by her first husband, John M Barnett, and these 8 children listed in the Skidmore family Bible, it appears that we have missed three other children, either Barnetts or Skidmores.
